ASPCA Pro supports animal welfare professionals with up-to-date resources, articles, and tools to help shelters increase adoptions and decrease the numbers of homeless pets in communities. Several years ago I was contracted to update the ASPCA Pro web site and site organization to make it more user friendly. I provided a written review of the Professional site with suggestions for changes that would enhance the user experience, specifically, visual impression, navigation and functionality. The object was to achieve more synergy and cross-referencing between the Pro site and the ASPCA.org site.
The site was built and maintained by the ASPCA Pro web team from my Photoshop documents and outlines. Although the original site has changed some from the first launch, it has maintained the fundamental look I originally created. It is about to be replaced, however, with a new site featuring updated functionality and content management architecture.
